D | 他的字取法于蔡襄、杨凝式以及晋唐诸家影响，五体皆能，尤善行、草。其字笔画刚健挺拔、瘦劲峭利，尖锋入纸，衄挫、调锋动作丰富，行笔中锋立骨、侧锋取妍，提按有致、顿挫分明。结字中宫紧实、四面开张，险绝奇宕，动势十足，受“尚意书风”影响但又不失严谨。欹侧多变，开合自然，与画相得益彰，秀润之中见苍然。用墨枯润得宜，变化自然，章法错落有致。

E | 王诜的绘画则取法于李成、范宽，极善小景山水，赋色清丽，诗意盎然。王诜书法可与“宋四家”相较高低，绘画也能在高手云集的两宋占据一席之地，可惜传世作品太少，所以大众不知其人。不过这件阴差阳错的鉴定事件，却在当时颇受热议。
